The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 1. The Sixth Edition.

Volume fully bound in leather covered boards. Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in ink on the top of the title page is a previous owners signature, which is illegible and which has off-set onto the frontispiece. Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
