The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 3.

The volume is bound with a leather spine and marbled paper covered boards (Wide Combed Pattern). Pasted onto the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written above these in ink is a previous owners signature "J.R. Greenhill". Written in ink on the top right of the front free end-page are the initials "JRG" with, in pencil, "KM 3 State 1 TSL 136" underneath. Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
