Poems by William Cowper. A New Edition.

This volume is fully bound in tree-marbled calf over boards. The end pages are comprised of single sheets of marbled paper (Turkish Pattern). The front paste-down has 2 labels; "from the Library at Shandy Hall" is on the top left and in the centre is "Given to the Trust by Joel Downing 1994". Written in ink on the reverse of the front free end-page is the signature "J.C. Downing 1942". Stamped onto the reverse of the half-title page is a circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "Shandy Hall Library" inside.
