This volume is bound with a leather spine and corners and marbled paper covered boards (Gold vein Overprinted over Spanish moiré on Turkish pattern). The top edge of the text-block has been gilded. Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste-down is a small label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Pasted onto the front free end-page is a large bookplate with a printed woodcut image and "Ex Libris W.T. Smellie" and "To Travel Hopefully is a Better Thing than to Arrive".
