The Sermons of Mr. Yorick. Volume 1. First Dublin Edition.

This volume has been bound with grey card over boards with a teal cloth spine. There are 2 labels on the top left side; "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", underneath this is "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On this page are pencil notes "1st Dublin ed. The half-title, I think, has been supplied from Vol II, the proper one for Vol I being lacking."". On the front free end-page are also pencil notes on 3 lines "Same year as 1st (London) Edition. 2 Vols £1/5/-". On the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it. The catchword is to the bottom right of every page. The title is typed in teal in capitols on 5 lines onto a paper label "The Sermons of Mr. Yorick Volume I"
