The Book of Common Prayer, and Administration of the Sacraments, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, According to the Use of the Church of England; Together with the Psalter or Psalms of David. Pointed as they are to be Sung or Said in Churches.
Volume fully bound in black leather (moroccan) over boards with gilt edges to the text-block. The end-pages are comprised of single-sheets of marbled paper (French Curl on Wide-Combed Pattern). Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste-down is a small paper label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Written in ink on the reverse of the front free end page and adjacent page as well as the reverse of the rear free end page are a series of handwritten notes in ink which appear to be genealogically related to the "Ward" family. "Drawn" in ink on the title page are a series of single letters (perhaps a child learning to form their letters?)
