This volume is fully bound in green book cloth over boards with matt-black end pages. Pasted onto the front paste-down are 2 labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" which is immediately above "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Stamped onto the obverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" around the rim and "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
