This volume is fully bound in leather covered boards decorated in the style of Cambridge Calf. The end-pages are comprised of single sheets of marbled paper (Wide Combed Pattern). Pasted onto the centre of the front paste-down is an illustrative previous owners bookplate with the name "J. Cresswell". Written, in ink on the rear of the front free end-page is an inscription "This curious book..." with a noteation above refering to the "Extra leaf, cut out of horses". The top corner of the front 2nd fly leaf has been torn out; wirtten underneath this is further notation. Previous owners signature on the top of the title page "(Pet) Smart ?"
