This volume is fully bound in leather over boards. The front paste-down has no labels, however there is an area where a large bookplate has been removed and where it has previously off-set onto the adjoining front free end-page is clear. On the top of the front free end-page is "SYII-8 B" written in pencil. On the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it. There is a printers device/flower underneath the title. On the bottom of the title page is "-1767-" written in ink underneath the same date printed in roman numerals.
