Hardback hollowback spine and un-cut pages. This volume is fully bound in dark blue coloured book cloth over board with a gilt finish to the top edge of the text block. The front paste-down has 1 small white label pasted onto the top left corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
