This volume is missing its covers, however a small amount of blue paper remains on the spine to suggest original blue paper covers now missing. Written in pencil on the top of the title page is "P fig 1 m p100". On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
