The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume VIII. First Edition.

This volume is bound with marbled covered boards (French Curl on Wide Comb Pattern) with a leather spine. The top of the title page has been torn off, and it is likely that there was a previous owners signature there originally(?). On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. The bottom half of the rear free end-page has also been torn off.
