The Old Granary
In the grounds and adjacent to the main house is a building which was once a granary and cart shed when Shandy Hall was a working farm. It is still central to the work that goes on here. Now it has become the Old Granary Gallery on the first floor, an events and exhibitions space which has been the venue for exhibitions, talks, theatre productions, poetry reading and workshops of all kinds.
On the ground floor is a cottage flat used by artists-in-residence, academics, students and other visitors.
The Shandy Shop
The Shandy Shop is housed in the old stable block. It sells plants, books (both new and second hand), souvenirs, cards, and items relating to Sterne, as well as small antiques and bric-a-brac. There is also an online shop.
